What is one thing you MUST do before you go to bed at night?
Brush my teeth. I literally have a hard time sleeping if I haven't brushed my teeth.
How many pair of shoes do you have? Out of those pairs, how many do you wear more than a few times a year?

*sigh* Honestly? I have 53 pairs of shoes. I wear about 90% of them more than a few times a year. The ones I rarely wear are things like my hiking boots and rafting sandals. Also, my tennis shoes. Mostly because I no longer live in a city with a lot of readily available outdoor sports. So I wear fun shoes more :)
What do you want to be famous for?

I don't really want to be famous.....at least not the kind of famous I'm sure this means. I'd like to be known and respected in my field, and I think i'm on my way to that, so I'm pretty happy where I am
How are your Saturday nights different now than they were five years ago?
Let's see....five years ago I was still in graduate school, about half way through. I'm guessing my Saturday nights were spent doing homework, working, or hanging out with the guy I was dating then.
Now? Now most of my Saturday nights are spent out, as "wingman" to a friend of mine. Which is fun, if not a little tiring :)
What's the one thing you're most neurotic about?
*Most* neurotic? Cleaning. And putting things away. I'm very particular about how things get put away and how things (especially the kitchen) get cleaned. Now that I'm aware of it, I try to let go and let other people help, but it's tough sometimes. It's definitely something that I'm neurotic about only in my *own* kitchen, though. Other people's kitchens can be as messy as they want :)
I know there are quite a few knitters in my neighborhood, so I thought I'd ask this question for a friend. She's getting married at the end of August and would like to knit a wedding-appropriate shrug or shawl or other wrap-like thing. She doesn't want to have sleeves on her dress, but also doesn't want to have bare shoulders in church.
So, post your favorite shrug/wrap/shawl pattern in the comments please!
How often do you call your parents?
If you're going to get technical, I hardly ever *call* my parents. But lately, I've been seeing them about once a week. Usually I see them about once a month and chat with my mom via email pretty regularly. It helps that we live in the same city (basically)
What products can't you live without?
Submitted by galindafied.
Diet Coke. and my computer, maybe. I could live without my computer, but it wouldn't be fun. Or pretty :) But Diet Coke is definitely a staple.
Kate wore this one for her wedding earlier this month: http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTido.html, and it was gorgeous.Good luck! read more
