How do you feel about your birthday? Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?
What about a third option? I don't dread my birthday, but I don't remind all my friends either. I'm pleased when people remember it's my birthday, but it's not a big deal, really. Birthdays aren't that big in my family, so....dinner out is about all the celebration I expect.
What do you do with the cards and letters you receive? Do you keep them all, just keep the photos, throw them away?

I don't keep all of them, but I don't throw them all away either. I have a majority of the birthday, Christmas and other holiday cards I've received over the years. I keep them in a mesh box in the closet in my office. I'm not sure why I keep them, since I never actually look at them again :)

Most of my fears are irrational, and too numerous to list here. We'll just go with fear of the dark, since that covers most of them.
